I have never had such a bizzare thing happen and as such am adding it to your archives, so help any other unsuspecting person by surprise. please correct me if i am wrong . Everything I read to do was wrong. It was affecting Firefox as well - problem solved there as well. Peter Doesn't work for me, still no sound. Remove sound drivers.
