I'm thinking there is something wrong with the Wii, not the sound system. i would say a call to nintendo, hopefully you're under warranty.. If you see a setting for tv speakers and it is set to on it will mute the sound from the monitors speakers. but it still is silent I'm going to the game shop tomorrow to see whats going on.
